Purchase FAQ
Before you buy
5,000 factory patches, split into 5 genre banks of 1000 — Hardcore, Techno, Industrial, Cinematic, Experimental — with 10 sound-type folders inside each bank. They are included in the purchase, not sold as an add-on, and you can browse the whole library in the browser demo before you buy. Factory presets are read-only; your own patches are saved separately.
DARKSTAR ships as VST3, plus a standalone Windows application (.exe).
Windows is supported today. A macOS and Linux release is planned, but there is no confirmed date yet — we would rather say "planned" than promise a date we might miss.
You can activate DARKSTAR on up to 3 computers at a time. If you need to activate a new machine after reaching that limit, deactivate a seat on one of your existing machines first.
All 1.x updates are free for life — every update within the DARKSTAR 1.* version line is included at no extra cost.
DARKSTAR is sold through our LemonSqueezy store. After checkout, you'll get a download link from LemonSqueezy and in your purchase confirmation email.
